Miami Project is a center of excellence at the U. of Miami School of Medicine and is dedicated to finding more effective treatments and, ultimately, a cure for paralysis that results from spinal cord injury. There are clinical research programs where individuals with spinal cord injuries can serve as volunteer research subjects. However, the Project is not a patient care facility.
